PT Rating

I think it’s past time that the Navy create a PT rating. We have rating for Career Councilers, Legal, and many other things that relate less to the mission of the Navy directly. The Navy has the culture of fitness, and is constantly pressing us to be in better shape. The problem is that the training given to PRT coordinators is not consistent and they often give out a lot of misinformation. This rating should be like NC, only open to E-5 and above who want to cross rate, and each command would have a PRT coordinator assigned to the command as a full time duty. (more…)
